Post a commentInteracting with our customers and people who love office supplies is what this blog is all about.  It’s a 2-way conversation between us and you.  In order for that to happen, we post and you comment.  We love that concept.  That is how we learn how to make our business better.  By listening to what our customers have to say, we can provide a better service to you.

That being said, we also feel that some comments may not fit into the scope of our goal here.  Here is where we stand on the content of comments on this blog:

1.       We love comments – they encourage thought and can provide a source of knowledge that is valuable to us and our customers.  We’re looking for comments with some depth.  If you like (or dislike) the post, please think about WHY and tell us about it.  Just saying ‘great post’ makes us feel great, but if we know why you liked the post, it will help us to provide more content that you might also like.  If you read a post and have a thought that you would like to share regarding the post, please feel free to post a comment.

2.       We don’t love spam - there are spam filters in our blog that block spam at the front line.  Sometimes, however, some comments may make it through the filter.  Any spam is automatically deleted, no questions asked.

3.       Links in your comments - these can be a good thing, AS LONG AS THEY ARE RELEVANT TO THE POST.  Links have the ability to further the conversation.  If they don’t have anything to do with the content of the post or this blog, it makes your comment look more like spam than a relevant post and is more likely to be deleted.  If the link leads to a competitor’s site, the comments will be deleted.  We are not in the business of promoting (or bashing) our competitors.

4.       Keep it clean - posts that are offensive or have bad language aren’t necessary.  That’s not to say that you can’t disagree with something that we say (we’re human just like you), but you can do it in a way that gets your point across without being offensive.

That’s not so bad, right?  Basically, we want you to add to our content in order to help us and the others who read this blog.  And in the process, we might even be able to help you to build upon your own reputation by adding credibility to your point-of-view.
